The XII International conference on photonics and information optics was carried in January 26-28, 2022 via videoconference. The program included 314 reports of scientists from NRNU MEPhI, from the organizations of the Moscow region (MSU, MIPT, NUST «MISIS», PFUR, MIREA, Bauman MSTU, MAI, MPEI, MTUSI. In total there were reports from 164 organizations, from them from 72 higher education institutes, 35 institutes of the RAS, 15 scientific research institutes, 10 scientific production from Russia, 23 (14 education and 9 scientific production) organizations from the CIS and 9 organizations from outher countries: 5 from European Union (France, Spain, Bulgaria), Egypt, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
The conference included 12 meetings in total: 2 plenary sessions and 8 section meetings, also 4 sessions were held, during which in the conference chat were discussed online the materials of the reports included in the conference program. Languages of conference – Russian and English. The proceedings of conference were published. Best reports were recommended for publication in the form of papers in the reviewed magazines.
The XII International Conference on Photonics and Information Optics has been the most representative forum in this area for many years. Past conference again demonstrated the relevance of research in this field of science, both for creating theoretical foundations for new promising research and for the practical implementation of the results achieved in production technologies. Both leader scientists and young researchers participated in the conference. Their participation contributes to the further development of scientific schools and serves as the basis for systematic improvement of the quality of training of specialists in this industry.
