The X International conference on photonics and information optics was carried in January 27-29, 2021 via videoconference. Conference themes: coherent and nonlinear optics, fiber and integrated optics, optics of crystals and acousto-optics, interaction of radiation with matter and optical materials, nano- ana biophotonics, holography and digital optics, optical communication and optoelectronic data processing, element base and applied photonics. The program included 232 reports of scientists from NRNU MEPhI, from the organizations of the Moscow region (MSU, MIPT, NUST «MISIS», PFUR, MIREA, Bauman MSTU, MAI, MPEI, MPU, MTUSI. Skoltech, LPI RAS, GPI RAS, STS UI RAS, FIRE RAS, FSRC «Crystallography and Photonics» RAS, NRC «Kurchatov institute», All-Russian SRIPTRM, NIIME, et. al.), from the organizations from the other cities of Russia (Saint-Petersburg (SPb SU, SPb PU, SPb SEU «LETI», SPb SUAI, SPb SUT, SPb NRU ITMO, Hersen RSPU, BSTU «Voenmech», Ioffe PTI RAS, SOI, et. al.), Kaliningrad (BFU, KSTU), Apatity (ICTREMRM KSC RAN), Arkhangelsk (NAFU), Tver (TvSU), Vladimir (VlSU), Penza (PSUAC), Voronezh (VGU, VAIU), Simferopol (CFU), Stavropol (NCFU), Krasnodar (KubSU), Taganrog (SFU), Rostov-on-Don (RSTU), Nizhny Novgorod (NNSU), Cheboksary (ChSU), Samara (SamNRU), Saratov (Saratov SU, Saratov STU), Ulyanovsk (UlSU), Izhevsk (UFRC UB RAS), Orenburg (OSU), Kazan (KFU, KNRTU-KAI), Perm (PNRPU, PSU), Ekaterinburg (UrFU), Omsk (OmSTU), Tomsk (TGU, TUSUR), Kemerovo (KemSU). Novosibirsk (IAE SB RAS), Krasnoyarsk (SFU), Khabarovsk (FESTU), Vladivostok (IASP FEB RAS), etc., and from universities and institutes of NAS of Republic of Belarus (Minsk, Grodno), Ukraine (Kharkiv), Kyrgyz Republic (Bishkek) and Republic of Kazakhstan (Karaganda) from international groups including scientists from different countries, so from universities of France and Germany. In total there were reports from 138 organizations, from them from 63 higher education institutes, 26 institutes of the RAS, 14 scientific research institutes, 12 scientific production organizations from Russia, 8 organizations from the CIS and 15 organizations from European Union, United Kingdom, Egypt, China, Australia and USA.
The conference included 12 meetings in total: 2 plenary sessions and 8 section meetings, also 4 sessions were held, during which in the conference chat were discussed online the materials of the reports included in the conference program. Languages of conference – Russian and English. The proceedings of conference were published. Best reports were recommended for publication in the form of articles in the reviewed magazines.
The X International conference on photonics and information optics once again confirmed the relevance and practical significance of researches in this fields of science and technology.
The speakers noted the importance of holding the conference, despite the new format of communication, both for the exchange of new knowledge and for the creation of scientific and industrial collaborations for the implementation of the attained results. Participation in the conference of both leader scientists and young researchers allows to confirm a conclusion that such forums will contribute to improving the level of knowledge and quality of education of the specialists in this industry.
